Review of Table Tennis Ball Holder Device
The ball holder is the main kit that you should buy to train alone at home. Using this tool, you can learn to impact the spin to the ball at the right moment (timing). Some players have feedbacked about using these tools:

There are several types of ball holder on the market that you can choose. The price varies from $13 to about $30. Here are some of them:
The second model is from Huieson (check price). The Huieson model is the best ball holder that I’ve found. Because you can plug this one to the dining table and practice alone. The holder is also flexible and long enough, so you can change the position of the ball (high or low). The Gracefulvara model is too short, and it holds not very strong. It can be detached off the table if you hit too hard. While the Huieson model has the slug that you can fix it tightly to the edge of a table. You can buy it on eBay, which is only $12.
How to use these devices
Read this self-training tutorial to learn how to use this tools correctly. These devices are lightweight. You can use it everywhere, anytime. But the most effective is, go to the training hall, and hit the ball with a good partner. Table tennis is really a technical sport. Hit at the right timing with a good acceleration is the key to success.
