Personal notes about coaching and techniques

Personal notes about coaching and techniques!

Here is my personal notes about coaching and improvement in table tennis. This note is only for me. So it’s hard for the outsider to understand. (to be updated).

Date: 09 2022

01 Always fix the grip

Always have a compact grip. Don’t change the grip. Think of the blade like a real blade (a knife). Pinch with the index and the thumb. Think the racket is a flat knife. Hold it and relax. But pinch strongly before hitting.

Each time, you change the grip, the consistency of your techniques reduces. Compact grip is better for forehand. Need to find the balance.

But always keep the same and compact grip.

02 Glue is the key

This is my second mistake. The first time, I used 2 layers of gluing sheets. It’s not good.

It will make a bubble. I have noted that in my notebook. Why did I make the same mistake again?

Never! Just one glue sheet at a time.
